Amazingly friendly and professional . The lady who I saw seemed to take an interest in me. I was made to feel like an individual and not just another patient. Well done to her . I regretlessly have forgot her name.

I went in with my son and got seen almost immediately by a very kind nurse. As far as doctors appointments go, it was one of the better ones.

My little boy was seen very promptly and treated and cared for brilliantly, I can't remember the doctors name but he was great!

I was told that the fact my son was covered in blisters and was in pain was not an emergency and I shouldn't have called. I'm not a doctor and when something is obviously wrong with my child I will naturally phone for assistance to be told that is wrong and you are wasting somebody's time really dents your confidence and makes you not want to seek help in the future. Having said that when we were given an appointment the doctor was great and only took a few minutes for a diagnoses, But in the future I don't think I'd want to use the service again

On the two occasions (both on Sundays) I've used the service I have been seen well before my scheduled appointment time and been treated with understanding and courtesy. No interminable questions, just what was required . I can't see any immediate need for improvements...I'm pretty sure I didn't just get lucky on either occasion.

I recently had reason to visit the Cumberland Infirmary through a phone-call to Choc. Without wishing to divulge too much information, I was in a terrible state of anxiety having not slept for 4 days. The Doctor that I saw was fantastic and treated me with kindness and compassion. His advice and reassurance really helped and it was amazing to have medical assistance exactly at the time that I needed it. My thanks go out to the staff at Choc for being readily available in the middle of the night. The service you provide is invaluable. Thanks for having been there for me when I needed you!

I rang about ten in the morning and was contacted almost straight away and given an appointment for later that morning. I arrived in time for my appointment and was seen almost immediately by a nurse practitioner who assured me I had made the right decision to use the service, as a water infection can become quite serious fairly quickly. The nurse I saw took my details, listened attentively, tested the water sample I had brought and then took my temperature before finally listening to my heart. She told me I did have a water infection and arranged for the sample to go for further testing to the lab. She wrote me a prescription and told me not to hesitate to call back if my symptoms got worse, she was absolutely brilliant I felt very well cared for at all times. I would recommend this service to everyone, even though I understand it is an emergency out of hours service. Every member of staff I either spoke or came into contact with was very efficient, friendly and very competent. I THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Sarah Cooper (I think the nurse practitioner I saw was called Collette and she was brilliant)
